Each Fall the Central New York Orchid Society holds its Annual Show and Sale in the Greater Syracuse, NY area. Many groups and individuals enter displays of plants, educational exhibits, artwork and/or photographs with orchids being their main or dominant theme.
Our 2022 Fall Show and Sale was held at the Beaver Lake Nature Center in Baldwinsville, NY at the end of last September.
We finally had a Show this year after two years off because of virus restrictions. Hallelujah! It was good to see old friends and new orchids. Attendance and sales were fair, and a good number of plants were pulled for awards consideration and 3 plants received AOS awards!

Plants receiving AOS awards will also be displayed on this page. Pictures have not been uploaded for the 2022 Show but will be soon.

Next year's show dates and other info are uncertain as we don't yet have volunteers for our Show Committee, and without volunteers we can't plan and set up for a show. At this time it's not likely that there will be a show.
Thanks to all who assisted in the planning and setup of this year's show. Special thanks is extended to the kind people at the Beaver Lake Nature Center, the club volunteers who helped with the show, the AOS judges and those who purchased plants and supplies from our vendors. A big pat on the back also goes to those who volunteered to bring food for both days of the Show.

The Beaver Lake Nature Center is a fascinating place, and the staff/members were very helpful in assisting us with our show. Four AOS awards were given out. Attendance was down a bit on Saturday due to driving rain, but a good deal of people stopped by on Sunday to view the orchids and to buy plants and supplies from the vendors. Many thanks to all of the judges who came to our show, and to all of the volunteers who helped to make our show a success!
There were quite a few people who visited our show, a few also did express interest in our club, and we enthusiastically invite them and anyone else with an interest in orchids to come visit us during our next meeting!
Thanks goes to everyone who stopped by and visited our show, and bought plants and supplies from our orchid vendors. We hope to see you next year!
